How it all happened

The BoPo Fitness system was born during COVID when Andrew Ellis suddenly found himself training friends in the backyard to keep them all fit and sane. He relied heavily on jump rope (from his Muay Thai days), circuit training to keep people engaged, and a little meditation thrown in at the end. The most recent additions have been breathing and ice therapy to round it all out to reconnect with our bodies and disengage from our busy minds.

About Andrew Ellis

Andrew has a BA in linguistics, an MFA in design, and somehow, ended up a personal trainer. For the past 20 years, he’s been traveling about and living in multiple countries including Cambodia, France, Chile, and across the US. Along the way, he’s studied yoga, Muay Thai, resistance training, CrossFit, a little ballet, and even meditation at a Zen monastery in the mountains of New Mexico. He approaches both 1-1 and group fitness with a focus on the individual, bringing his deep interest in communication and connection to a holistic practice for the mind and body.
